The purpose of the Dauphin County Parks, Recreation, Open Space, & Greenways Plan is to enhance existing and future communities in Dauphin County by preserving and, where appropriate, creating various types of green space. Created in 2009, the Plan includes an inventory of current conditions and parks in Dauphin County. It also analyzes those conditions, assesses needs, and lists possible future opportunities.
