Dauphin County Commissioners Mike Pries, Chad Saylor, and George P. Hartwick III will host the county’s 13th Annual Cultural Fest on Aug. 21 at City Island.

The event’s theme is “Family Reunion” and features food, art, family activities, and entertainment – including a headline performance by platinum-selling artist, Tony! Toni! Tone!

The FREE event runs from 2 p.m. to 10 p.m. at City Island’s Skyline Area.

“After many months of social distancing and stay-at-home orders, this event will really hit the spot and bring our community together,” Commissioner Chad Saylor said.

Sponsored by Highmark Blue Shield, Cultural Fest is a day of premier entertainment featuring three national artists, regional and local entertainment, two stages, social services, youth development, ethnic foods, crafts, fun and educational family activities, and so much more.

“Dauphin County is always proud to offer this event, and this year, perhaps more than ever, we look forward to a day of celebration, food, and excitement,” Commissioner Mike Pries said.

We have also partnered with Island vendors that will be open for business, featuring train rides, miniature golf, merry-go-round, ice cream and other foods.

Please bring lawn chairs, a blanket and small picnic basket and spend the day.

“What a way to get back outside and share laughs and smile with your neighbors, family, and friends,” Commissioner George P. Hartwick said.

The Dauphin County Commissioners are scheduled to present at 8:30 p.m., before headliner, Tony! Toni! Tone!  – scheduled to perform at 8:45 p.m.

A full schedule of events is attached and will be available at DauphinCounty.org.
