Dauphin County Coroner's Office releases autopsy report on Albert Morton

HARRISBURG, PA (February 2, 2018) – Dauphin County Coroner Graham Hetrick’s office conducted an autopsy on 31-year-old Albert Morton who was shot during an incident with Harrisburg Police on February 1. He later died at UPMC Pinnacle’s Harrisburg Hospital.

According to the coroner, the cause of death was a gunshot wound to the chest. The manner of death was homicide, legally meaning one human caused the death of another.
 
The coroner continues to work with law enforcement on the investigation.
